Privacy and Data Collection
With the advent of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), website owners are obliged to in Europe to state if and how we collect your information. I think itβs a good policy for folks elsewhere to do the same thing.
This site may use cookies. I'm not aware of any, but if they're here, I haven't looked up how to do anything with them, and don't have any plans for doing so in the future.
No purchases or transactions are conducted through this site. The most that you can do here is access the Amazon or publisher pages where my books are sold, and purchase them there. Clicking on those links takes you to Amazon, and again, if there's a way to track that, I have no idea how to/have no interest in doing so. (Yes, I am a Luddite.)
Squarespace provides the online platform that allows me to provide information about my books to you. Please refer to Squarespace general policies for more information about how they collect traffic data, IP addresses, and other such things.
I had a newsletter at one point. I might figure out how to do that again. If so, you will have to provide your email address and name to receive it, and will be able unsubscribe at any time.
I reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If I make material changes to this policy, I will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances, if any, I use and/or disclose it.
